The RP Diet App was designed by nutritional experts and data scientists to do one thing and one thing only: GET YOU RESULTS!
This app is NOT A TRACKER. You don't type in the foods or macros you eat. This app is a DIET DESIGNER and COACH. It tells you what to eat, not the other way around! There are tons of tracker apps out there, and many of them are very good. But this is one of the only diet coaching apps. If you're frustrated with your diet and just want a clear but flexible plan to follow, this is the app for you. The RP Diet App takes the uncertainty out of your hands and guides you every step of the way to your fitness goals.
You log in and tell the app about yourself, including your current schedule. You also tell the app about your next goal. You can choose to lose fat, gain muscle, or maintain an athletic physique at peak performance.
Based on the goal you choose, the app designs a custom diet that fits your schedule, but it doesn't choose your foods.
For each meal, YOU get to choose the foods you eat from a long (and growing) list of healthy options, and the app automatically tells you how much of these foods to eat so that you're on track to meet the goal you set.
The app will remind you when it's time to eat your meals and when it's time to step on the scale to track your progress.
By inputting your weight just a few times a week, the app will automatically adjust your diet every week to keep you on track.
What does this mean? It means that you don't have to fret or worry about your diet anymore. You just have to choose your favorite healthy foods, eat when the app reminds you, and watch your body transform.
When you have serious goals, don't leave them to chance. Leave them to science.
While the app accommodates countless ways of eating, it's not yet currently configured to support vegan diets or the schedules of night shift workers. Both updates are coming VERY soon, and the vegan diet option is already well underway in development and promises to be very, very powerful and easy to use. More foods please
The app is great in every way. I’m a data scientist and I like that it adapts as I give it my weight feedback. Perhaps there’s a way to provide fitness inputs like periodic blood tests or a basic exercise standard (mini-Murph time etc)..Even if exercise isn’t completely linked, it’d be fun to have all in one place (you might add a place to indicate energy level at the end of the day for those that like)
My only complaint is that it doesn’t have a ton of foods to enter (no bacon, OJ) and less education (doesn’t salt matter? Fiber? Does Kraft count as cheese (is it similar to real cheese or must I go to the deli counter to be ON the diet) What about coffee) in fact there is no where to input any kind of drink (does everyone only drink water all the time? Tea?).
Ideally I should be able to create an entree with ingredients and add that while bundle for simplicity (like Quiche) seems like making a bundle labeled a Quiche would be technically simple. And creating a subset of foods highlighted as not particularly recommended like V8 or a croissant (but available) would be better than just blanking the meal. Then hitting the meal wouldn’t necessarily have to be binary but continuous (you’d 90% hit your lunch because your Philly Cheesesteak had Cheeze Whiz, rather than Provilone)

Game changer!!
This app is awesome! It’s very user friendly. And as someone who has used MyFitnessPal and WW app, this has by far been the easiest for me to stick with. I’m never hungry and I’m eating way more food than ever.. and I’m down 4.5lbs in 10 days! Which for me is a big deal, because I don’t have much to lose, just wanted to lean up a bit. I’m also feeling very energized in the gym, able to move through CrossFit workouts a little easier. I’ve never timed my eating, just ate when I felt hungry, but being on this plan has really helped me see the importance of it. I went with 4 stars because it would be nice to add custom foods, but having a list with so many options has really helped me think less about what to make and eat. It forces me to think outside my comfort zone and eat foods I don’t immediately think of. I’ve counted macros before, but I would tend to have a tiny breakfast and use all my carbs at dinner 😂 Having the app space out my macros for me and reminding me when to eat has been a game changer!! All around, great app! Highly recommend!

Best Training & Nutrition App Out There
I’ve used the RP manual templates for a while, with incredible success. I was really excited when the app was announced. I stayed with the templates for a couple months while the initial bugs & updates were handled and switched over a couple weeks ago. It’s a game changer. The science has advanced beyond what the manual templates can offer and it’s way more precise because you track your progress in the app, and there is no guesswork. This is macro tracking, without the math & becoming utterly obsessed over macros. My favourite part is at the end of the week, the app checks you progress and then asks how you’re feeling before locking in the next week’s macro breakdown. I’ve noticed that I’m more motivated, and have stayed more compliant using this app than anything else I’ve tried. And the results are not just aesthetic, I’ve gotten stronger and set multiple new personal records in the gym. Thank you RP! #ScienceIsStronger

Using this spreadsheet, you can take the data you've recorded on your hand-written weight loss logs, enter the data into the spreadsheet, and see the results plotted on the graph.
This weight loss tracker template lets you create and customize your own weight loss chart. Graph your weight over time. Compare to 1 lb/wk and 2 lb/wk target lines. Your Goal Weight is highlighted. Lines representing the 'normal' BMI range are also shown on the graph. Includes two worksheets: 1 for weight in pounds and 1 for weight in kilograms.
Using a Weight Loss Chart
When you track your weight, you should be consistent with the time of day and what you are wearing to avoid large fluctuations. Your body looses a lot of water over night, so weighing yourself right when you get up may look good in the numbers, but is more a reflection of water loss, but if you do weigh in in the mornings, do that consistently.
Fast weight loss goals aren't the easiest to achieve. In general, a good weight loss per week is between 1 and 2 lbs.
Many people lose the weight and wonder how their body measurements have changed.. Don't forget to measure key parts of your body so you can see those results as well. You may even want to see a doctor before you start, so you can see how other aspects of your health change as you lose weight, like blood pressure, cholesterol, resting heart rate, and percentage of body fat.
