This is a great commentary. In an expository manner, he explains each book of the Bible in detail. Wiersbe gives background information on topics that help make each passage more clear. It is always beside my Bible when I study! I highly recommend it.

This is being used as a Sunday School series. It is very informative and I recommend it to those teaching youth and adult SS classes.

I am endeavoring to purchase the entire set of Wiersbe NT commentaries. The discussion of the content is extensive, easy to understand and he includes references to show from where he obtained his explanation. I never use a commentary that doesn't give me references.

Received relatively fast. There was a book cover that had been creased by being broken. Not to bad, but since it was a gift, not appreciated.

The set I ordered is a gift. I own this set and like it very much. I read some of it every day and I am sure the person who is to receive it will, also. The title of this set is The Bible Exposition Commentary.b

I haven't had time to read them yet, but i am very happy about having them. The cover was not like the picture.

I have always enjoyed reading and have benefited from Warren Wiersbe's 'The Bible Exposition Commentary' set (OT & NT). His writing style is non-technical, friendly and warm. His content captures the main theme of the passage well without cluttering the meaning with unnecessary jargon. Although his commentary is not academic or critical, it is not shallow and he is pastoral at heart - always applying the passage at hand. 1. This is 2nd Edition (2008) of 'The Bible Exposition Commentary' set. Nothing has changed from previous edition, except that looks of the set has changed: 'same content, different cover' (pictured above). I like the new look. 2. This set has been printed in Korea. The quality of the set is much, much better than the previous sets. (a) Paper quality is smooth. (b) The set is 'smyth-sewn' (stitched to the spine) and not glued like the previous set. Frankly I was very surprised by this. Generally, almost all the books printed in U.S. are glued in this price range. This was a pleasant surprise. 3. Also note that the font size of the Volumes (Joshua - Esther) and (Job - Song of Solomon) is bigger than rest of the set. I thought that was interesting. All in all, this is excellent commentary set for lay people, teachers, and even pastors. You might not agree with Wiersbe's theological viewpoints in somethings (Wiersbe is Dispensational in his theological persuasion), but you will definitely be edified by the set. Recommended!

I think this is an excellent resource for Sunday School Teachers. It explains the scriptures in easy to understand language. I first saw this commentary on the internet and I was convinced that I wanted the six volumn set for my home use.

Highly recommend as an adjunct to one's own personal reading and study of Scripture. It provides valuable insights and contextual insights to aid in forming your own conclusions on what the text means and is trying to teach.

Not only was it exactly as advertised, it was delivered much sooner than expected!

I'm not a preacher, just a layman who wants to understand the Word of God better and grow closer in my relationship with God. For the last few years I have been doing the Read the Bible in a Year program. Since I got this series of books I have added them to my daily reading, reading the section that corresponds to my daily Bible reading. And I have really enjoyed what they have added to my understanding of God's Word. Wiersbe writes in a way that anyone, layman, preacher, Bible scholar, can easily understand. I highly recommend this series of books.

The print is so small I need a lighted magnifying glass to read it. I am NOT VSION IMPAIRED. Would be 5 stars if in a readable print or on Kindle. Disappointed.

It is a great set of hardcover commentaries. The quality of the construction and outward covers are perfect. I like it comes in 6 volumes catagorized by books of the Bible. Dr. Wiersby be is clear, practical and Christ centered. I have many commentaries and these volumes have become my most treasured. As a preacher and deacon, I highly recommend them. Bravo!

For the record, I'm giving this one star for the performance of Weilman Books and Amazon, NOT these books. I DID order these books with an amazon gift card, through the third party seller, Weilman Books. They, in turn, committed fraud. They took my gift card and then purchased/sent them to me from Christianbook.com, but with a fraudulent credit card. Now my address is blacklisted/tagged for fraud. The people at Christianbook.com were very kind when they understood that we were not to blame, but this is just preposterous. ALSO, I tried to return this set to Weilman Books as soon as I received it, because the description claimed it was a new publication (and it was NOT, we already owned this set). They refused, and Amazon itself was no help either. Once the fraud charge came to light, amazon took my complaint, but didn't even give me a proper link to give a negative review for the seller. SUPER DISAPPOINTED. I purchased May 4, 2017 and this is still an issue on December 13, 2017.
